Wow, really it has been that long since I posted? I have been super busy with a lot of work and new projects but still, really it has been that long? Geesh. We also moved a while ago and I JUST now am getting my office set up. As much as I would love the all-sophisticated office that I dream about, what actually inspires me are children products, packaging, cute little fun things I find and some of my favorite past designs. I will show you more once I get the office all designed but for now, this little wall area inspires me. The shelves are from Ikea. And my favorite is the card carousel from Pottery Barn that I have had for years. I keep some extra samples of my greeting cards, postcards, flashcards and bookmarks. I also love my metal letters. Anyways, more to come.
I do post more regular on Instagram if you want to view more of my work and about me.
This is my favorite pencil. It is over 6 years old. I love this pencil. I have hung on to this pencil hoping it will last. I hardly use this pencil because I don't want it to get all used up. I bought it at Pottery Barn a long time ago. I wish they still sold them in their stores, or online. I actually have gone as far as looking on EBay and Craigslist for these as I cannot find them anywhere. If you know anyone or any place to get these, please, please contact me. I really, really, really LOVE this pencil!
One of my favorite shops that features my artwork is Wallzical. This product is sold out at the time of this blog but check out their other products. You will be in love with them all.
Kinda like when you Google yourself, try to hashtag yourself... you might find some awesome surprises :)
I am so excited to announce that my shop will open SOON... yay! I will have a ton of prints and paper goods for purchase as well as digital art available for immediate download. There are more surprises coming but one thing at a time. I also released my updated website with my storefront featuring what you will see inside my store. This store is really a creative outlet for me so I cannot wait to open it. I just now need to figure out how to get 72 hours in a day and we will be good!
So, this is exciting! To find out Starry Night, Hold Me Tight was featured in People Magazine in this article.
I am on a blogging frenzy tonight! Wow, it is feast or famine with me sometimes :). I forgot that I had taken pictures the other day of parts of my house so I can show you these now and when I get my house clean then I will post more.
Since we have only been in this house a little over a year, I am still working and playing with color and decor. I definetly like how I have things decorated this Christmas vs last year. I just commented to my huband that I am really liking red as an accent color (with our grey-ish blue and cream walls and furniture) and maybe we should keep it around after Christmas. My husband said, "Sounds good.". However, since he doesn't really care much about house decor and his eyes are glued to the the hockey game, I am thinking perhaps he didn't really hear me. But I will pretend he did! Red accent colors it is then :)
This year I fought and fought from getting my Christmas decor out. I don't know why because now that I have my tree up and my decorations out, I never want to take them down! I will post more as soon as I clean my house. It is a little too messy to take pictures and post but I promise to soon!
